Bobby Zamora: 'Queens Park Rangers will go down fighting'

Bobby Zamora hopes that QPR will go "all guns blazing" at Manchester City as they bid to keep alive their slim hopes of winning their relegation battle.

Bobby Zamora has warned Manchester City that Queens Park Rangers will arrive at Eastlands today with "all guns blazing" in a bid to preserve their slim hopes of survival.

Anything but a victory at the Etihad Stadium will see bottom-of-the-table Rangers follow Burnley in being relegated from the Premier League.

The Londoners famously lost 3-2 away at City on the final day of the 2011-12 season - a result which saw the hosts win the title and QPR win their relegation battle.

However, with the Citizens lacking the same incentive this time around, Zamora hopes that Manuel Pellegrini's side endure an off-day.

"It's a going to be a tough task, obviously, against Manchester City," the 34-year-old told reporters. "It's unlike the last time, that last game of the season, they don't have anything to play for as such.

"So we'd like to think they're going to have their flip-flops on and be on the beach, not want to get injured and all those bits and pieces really.

"So, that's what we're hoping. We're going to be all guns blazing, and hopefully they have an off day and a relaxed approach to the day, and we can get something."

Chris Ramsey's side must win their final three games and hope other results go in their favour to stand any hope of staying in the top flight.
