West Bromwich Albion defender Steven Reid has heaped praise on goalkeeper Ben Foster after his heroic display against Liverpool.
The Baggies stopper saved a late penalty from Steven Gerrard, before his side went on to record a 2-0 win at Anfield on Monday.
Albion spent £4m on the 29-year-old in the summer, and Reid insists that it was money well spent by the club.
"He's one of the top English keepers and he kept us in it," Reid told talkSPORT. "He's brilliant. He's one that we spent big on, and we don't do that too often.
"But with performances like that you can see why we spent the money.
"Obviously the highlight of the saves was the penalty, which was top draw."
West Brom now sit eighth in the Premier League.
