Team News: Valon Behrami, Johan Djourou named in Hamburger SV side

Valon Behrami makes his Bundesliga debut for Hamburger SV, while Johan Djourou also starts against FC Koln on the opening weekend of the season.

Valon Behrami and Johan Djourou have both been named in the Hamburger SV side for their Bundesliga clash with FC Koln on Saturday afternoon.

There is a place in midfield for Behrami following his switch from Napoli in the summer, while Djourou is selected in the centre of defence after his loan move from Arsenal was made permanent.

Rafael van der Vaart, repeatedly linked with a move away from the club throughout the transfer window, starts just behind lone striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga, who also spent last season on loan with Hamburg.

Koln forward Anthony Ujah is set to begin the season with a new attacking partner, with Yuya Osako making his Bundesliga debut for his new side as the hosts look to make a winning start on their return to the top flight of German football.

FC Koln: Horn, Brecko, Maroh, Wimmer, Hector, Matuschyk, Lehmann, Risse, Halfar, Osako, Ujah

Hamburger SV: Adler, Diekmeier, Djourou, Westermann, Jansen, Behrami, Badelj, Arslan, Van der Vaart, Ilicevic, Lasogga
