Atletico Madrid have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa.
The Japan international is yet to secure a starting spot under manager David Moyes, who opted not to use the former Borussia Dortmund player during his side's goalless draw with Chelsea on Monday.
It has been claimed by the Daily Mail that Atletico are keen on taking Kagawa on loan for the season, while Dortmund are also believed to be interested in re-signing the player.
A number of Dortmund fans created a 'free Shinji' Twitter campaign due to his constant presence on the bench at Old Trafford.
