Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Pacos de Ferreira

Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Europa Conference League battle with Pacos de Ferreira.

Tottenham Hotspur's inaugural game of the Europa Conference League takes place on Thursday with a trip to Portuguese side Pacos de Ferreira in the first leg of the playoff round.

Nuno Espirito Santo's competitive reign began in perfect fashion with a 1-0 success over Premier League champions Manchester City at the weekend, with Son Heung-min scoring the winner in the 55th minute of the contest.

A reunion with Wolverhampton Wanderers is sandwiched in between these two continental ties for Nuno, whose side are vying to reach the group stages of Europe's tertiary competition.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Harry Kane

Status: Out
Type of injury: Lack of fitness
Possible return date: August 22 (vs. Wolves)

Harry Kane was only back in team training with Spurs on Friday and was not selected to play against admirers Man City at the weekend. Nuno refused to give a definite answer on when Kane would make his return to action, but he has not travelled with the squad for this game.

Ryan Sessegnon

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: August 19 (vs. Pacos)

Ryan Sessegnon sustained a hamstring injury in pre-season and was not passed fit to face City. However, the former Fulham man is now back in training and has an outside chance of being passed fit for the first leg.

Tanguy Ndombele

Status: Out
Type of injury: Other
Possible return date: Unknown

Tanguy Ndombele did not feature in the early stages of pre-season after becoming a father, but the Frenchman is still waiting for his first taste of action under Nuno. The Spurs boss affirmed before the City win that it was "not the right moment" for Ndombele to feature, and he is not on the official squad list for this game.

SPURS' SUSPENSION LIST

Tottenham have no players suspended for the first leg.
