Arsenal's Jack Wilshere nabs Euro 2016 spot?

Jack Wilshere will reportedly claim a place in England's 23-man squad for Euro 2016, despite the fact that he has played just six minutes of senior action this season.

England manager Roy Hodgson has reportedly decided to include Jack Wilshere in his 23-man squad for this summer's Euro 2016.

The Arsenal midfielder has played just six minutes of first-team football this season, having suffered a broken leg last August.

However, after recently making a return to the fold, Hodgson has been convinced to gamble on Wilshere's fitness, according to The Telegraph.

The report adds that Hodgson is hopeful that the midfielder will prove he is up to speed during the pre-tournament friendlies against Turkey, Australia and Portugal.

The experienced head coach will announce his final squad selection and six standby players at Wembley on Thursday, way ahead of UEFA's May 31 deadline.
