Bolton Wanderers sign Keith Andrews from West Bromwich Albion on a three-year deal.

Bolton Wanderers have signed Keith Andrews from West Bromwich Albion on a three-year contract after his contract with the Baggies expired.

Andrews joins a newly-relegated Bolton side looking to bounce straight back into the Premier League at the first time of asking.

Of the signing, manager Owen Coyle said: "We are pleased to have been able to bring in Keith early in the transfer window as there were a number of clubs interested in signing him.

"He is highly experienced both in domestic and international football, and he will bring strength, competition and a goalscoring threat to our midfield."

The 31-year-old central midfielder joins his new teammates following a disappointing Euro 2012 campaign with Ireland, who lost all of their games.

Ireland lost their opening match against Croatia before falling to the two eventual finalists, Spain and Italy, Andrews being sent off during the latter.

That red card means that the former Blackburn Rovers man will be suspended for his country's opening 2014 World Cup qualifier.

In addition to West Brom and Blackburn, Andrews has also played for the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Hull City and MK Dons.
