Ex-Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink 'keen to become the next England manager'

Former Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink is reportedly keen on becoming the next England manager.

Former Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink reportedly wants to be considered for the England vacancy.

The Dutchman is available to work after leaving his second interim spell in charge of Chelsea in May.

The Football Association began its search for a new manager last week after Roy Hodgson resigned following England's Euro 2016 exit to Iceland.

FA chief executive Martin Glenn recently claimed that the hiring panel will consider appointing a foreign manager.

According to The Times, Hiddink intended to retire after leaving Chelsea, but is open to holding talks with the FA regarding the England vacancy.

Hiddink has previously coached five national teams, including the Netherlands, South Korea, Australia, Russia and Turkey.
