Didier Drogba reportedly makes a personal call to Wilfried Zaha in an attempt to convince the Crystal Palace forward to commit his international future to the Ivory Coast.

Didier Drogba has reportedly contacted Wilfried Zaha in an attempt to convince the Crystal Palace forward to commit his international future to the Ivory Coast.

The 19-year-old, who has represented England five times at Under-21 level, was born in Abidjan but moved to London as a young child.

According to The Sun, Elephants captain Drogba called Zaha earlier this week to ask him to ditch the Three Lions in favour of his country of birth.

Zaha has scored four goals in his last six Championship appearances for the Eagles.
