West Bromwich Albion winger Scott Sinclair believes that if he can get back to his best, then he can earn a place in the England team.
Sinclair is currently on loan at The Hawthorns from Manchester City, where he found first-team opportunities hard to come by last season after securing a move from Swansea City.
Sinclair told The Express: "England was another thing I thought of when I joined West Brom. I was so frustrated at not playing I just wanted to get out and play week in and week out and be happy.
"The World Cup is coming up and the manager has been putting the likes of [Andros] Townsend and [Ross] Barkley in the team. If they're getting a chance, then I don't see why I can't if I'm playing well."
Sinclair comes up against his old club later today when the Baggies face Michael Laudrup's side.
