Lars Bender has been named in Bayer Leverkusen's starting lineup against Mainz in the Bundesliga this afternoon.

The 23-year-old has made a full recovery from a knee injury and will feature in the midfield at the BayArena.

Hungary international striker Adam Szalai will continue to lead the attack for Mainz.
