Half-Time Report: Carlos Tevez, Paul Pogba give Juventus control in Florence

Carlos Tevez and Paul Pogba score in quick succession to help Juventus build a two-goal advantage against Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi.

Juventus hold a two-goal advantage at half-time of their Serie A clash with Fiorentina, thanks to strikes from Carlos Tevez and Paul Pogba in quick succession.

Tevez was gifted a penalty after drawing a foul from Gonzalo Rodriguez eight minutes from the interval, slamming down the middle to break the deadlock for his fourth goal in eight Serie A games.

Just two minutes later Juve took complete control in Tuscany after a calamity of errors in the Fiorentina defence.

Juan Cuadrado was culpable after rushing into his own box with an attempted clearance, which scooped across goal into the path of Paul Pogba.

The Frenchman made no mistake from close range, leaving La Viola boss Vincenzo Montella ruing the early withdrawal of midfield anchor Massimo Ambrosini through injury.
