Team News: Mainz 05 opt for two up top

Mainz 05 opt for two up front against Hoffenheim, who stick with Anthony Modeste in attack.

Mainz 05 coach Thomas Tuchel has selected both Shinji Okazaki and Nicolai Muller to start in attack for their home clash against Hoffenheim.

Niki Zimling will be providing further support from the centre in what looks to be an attacking side for the hosts.

Hoffenheim continue with Anthony Modeste as the lone striker, with Roberto Firmino floating in a free role behind him.

Mainz: Muller; Pospech, Bell, Noveski, Park; Geis, Zimling, Moritz, Soto; Muller, Okazaki

Hoffenheim: Casteels; Beck, Abraham, Vestergaard, Toljan; Rudy, Polanski; Volland, Firmino, Elyounoussi; Modeste
