Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric has passed his medical at Real Madrid ahead of his expected move to the Bernabeu.
The potential move has been one of the longest-running transfer sagas of this summer, with the two clubs struggling to come to an agreement over a fee for the player.
However, a deal - thought to be for at least £33m - was reportedly agreed in the early hours of this morning, allowing the 26-year-old to undergo a medical at the club.
The Croatia international is now expected to be officially announced as a Madrid player in the next 24 hours.
Modric spent four years at White Hart Lane, scoring 17 goals in 160 games for the North London club.
