Manchester United plan £22m January swoop for Barcelona's Alexis Sanchez?

Manchester United reportedly plot a £22m move for Barcelona's Alexis Sanchez in the January transfer window.

Manchester United have reportedly outlined a January move for Barcelona's Alexis Sanchez following their lacklustre activity in the summer transfer window.

The Premier League champions were criticised for failing to land targets such as Cesc Fabregas and Ander Herrera in the summer, with Marouane Fellaini being the only major signing made during the window.

Manager David Moyes has begun listing January targets, with a £22m move for Sanchez an option for the Scotsman, according to the Daily Star.

Reports have claimed that Moyes is impressed by the form of Sanchez, who has scored four goals in eight games for the Catalan giants this season.
