Manchester United will consider making a £10.7m move for Roma forward Paulo Dybala this summer, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly considering making a move for Paulo Dybala this summer, with the Roma forward potentially being available for £10.7m.

The 29-year-old joined Roma on a free transfer last summer following his Juventus exit, penning a three-year deal with the Italian giants until the summer of 2025.

Dybala has been in impressive form for Jose Mourinho's side during the 2022-23 campaign, featuring on 20 occasions in all competitions, contributing 10 goals and seven assists in the process.

According to Sport, there is a release clause in the Argentina international's contract which allows foreign clubs to sign him for just £10.7m during the upcoming transfer window.

The report claims that Man United are eyeing a move for the forward, with the club looking to boost their attacking options ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.

The 20-time English champions are expected to move for a big-money striker this summer, with Napoli's Victor Osimhen believed to be their leading target.

However, there could be at least one more forward arriving at the end of the season, as Anthony Martial continues to be linked with an exit, while Wout Weghorst's loan deal is unlikely to be made permanent unless he enjoys a strong finish to the campaign.

If Martial departs, Man United would not have a recognised centre-forward at the club, with Marcus Rashford preferring to operate in a wide position.

Should the club pay big money for Osimhen or Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane, a low-cost option in the shape of Dybala could then become a possibility for the club.

Dybala is said to earn around £5m per season at Roma, which is a salary that Man United would have no problem meeting to bring him to Old Trafford.

The Argentina international started his professional career with Instituto before moving to Palermo, spending three years with the Italian side ahead of a switch to Juventus in 2015.

In total, the forward spent seven years with the Old Lady, scoring 115 goals and registering 48 assists in 293 appearances in all competitions.

Dybala won five Serie A titles, four Coppa Italia crowns and three Italian Super Cups during his time in Turin, but he was unable to agree a new contract with the 36-time Italian champions.

Roma are currently third in Italy's top flight, three points behind second-placed Inter Milan and 16 from leaders Napoli, who are in a strong position to win the title this term.
