Atletico Madrid are reportedly open to selling forward Joao Felix this summer, amid interest from the likes of Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

Atletico Madrid are reportedly open to selling forward Joao Felix this summer, amid interest from a host of top European clubs including Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

The 22-year-old arrived at the Wanda Metropolitano for a club-record £114m in the summer of 2019, and he has since recorded 29 goals and 15 assists in 110 appearances across all competitions.

However, Atletico's hierarchy believe that Felix has failed to reach the heights expected at the club, and the Spanish giants are now prepared to part ways with the Portugal international.

According to BarcaTimes chief editor Shay Lugassi, Felix has been offered to a number of clubs, including PSG, with the player's agent believed to have held talks with several potential suitors.

This news will seemingly provide a boost for Man City boss Pep Guardiola, who is keen to sign the former Benfica man this summer, according to journalist Bruno Andrade.

The Premier League champions have already bolstered their options in attack with the arrivals of Erling Braut Haaland and Julian Alvarez from Borussia Dortmund and River Plate respectively.

However, Andrade states that Guardiola also wants Felix this summer, but a potential swoop for the forward would depend on whether the Citizens will sell Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling, the former of whom is allegedly edging closer to joining Arsenal.

PSG, meanwhile, had previously identified Felix as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe before the latter signed a new contract, but with Neymar's future in the French capital now believed to be uncertain, the Ligue 1 champions could reignite their interest in the Atletico forward.
