Barcelona are reportedly ready to sell defender Eric Garcia during the summer transfer window.
The financial issues at Camp Nou have been public knowledge for some time, with La Liga president Javier Tebas stating on more than one occasion that mass cutbacks are required before 2023-24.
Barcelona have recently helped their position with the exits of Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets on free transfers, space becoming available on the wage bill.
Nevertheless, the top-flight champions must make a number of sales to back up that double departure, ideally for big fees, but squad members will also be sold.
While some fringe players will expect to be moved elsewhere, that will not necessarily be the case with some players who have only been with Barcelona for a short time.

Despite being at the end of two seasons with Barcelona, Garcia still falls into that category, yet it appears that he may be encouraged to sign for a different club.
According to SPORT, the Spain international faces being pushed to the bottom of the pecking order under Xavi when additions are finally made.
Barcelona allegedly want to sign Athletic Bilbao defender Inigo Martinez on a free transfer and he would be regarded as above Garcia in the pecking order.
Although that deal is yet to be finalised, Garcia may still find himself with limited action due to the players that are already at the club and capable of playing at centre-back.

Jules Kounde, Andreas Christensen, Ronald Araujo and Marcos Alonso are viewed as options for Xavi, while Garcia made just 15 La Liga starts last season.
Some of those outings came as the most defensive-minded of a central three, and he also completed 90 minutes on just one occasion from the middle from the April until the start of June.
Barcelona would benefit from selling the 22-year-old due to acquired his services on a free transfer when they signed him from Manchester City.
Any fee generated would go down as pure profit in the books, although it is unclear what figure will be required for Barcelona to sell a player who still has three years left on his contract.
