Wolves boss Nuno was sent off after celebrating Jota's last-minute winner.

Boss Nuno Espirito Santo admitted he got caught up in the moment after he was dismissed for celebrating Wolves' late show in their thrilling 4-3 win over Leicester.

Diogo Jota settled a stunning game in injury time when he completed his hat-trick to see Nuno race onto the pitch and celebrate with his players.

Jota and Ryan Bennett had fired Wolves into an early 2-0 lead before Demarai Gray and Conor Coady's own goal levelled for Leicester.

Jota made it 3-2 but Wes Morgan equalised with three minutes left only for Jota to complete his treble and spark pandemonium at Molineux.

Nuno was then dismissed by referee Chris Kavanagh, who did not send Jurgen Klopp off when he invaded the pitch to celebrate Liverpool's late winner against Everton in November.

Nuno said: "It's the law, it's not bad intention, it's not (meant to be) disrespectful. I'm so happy.

"It happened before with other managers, in that moment it's difficult to contain your emotions.

"The law is clear. There's no explanation. After all the situations which passed in the game to finish like that is tremendous happiness for everyone, I'm no exception.

"The referee explained to me, it was clear and it was a good decision. He told me I was not allowed to go outside the technical area."

Jota has now scored all of his five goals this season in his last six games.

He became the first Wolves player to score a hat-trick in the top flight since John Richards in 1977 – in a 3-0 win against Leicester.

Nuno added: "Diogo played well, he showed that he's back. He was injured, he is coming back to his best and he helped the team.

"I hope he can still do better. I think the work ethic of the players goes beyond scoring."

Leicester boss Claude Puel was left with his head in his hands when Nuno sprinted onto the pitch to celebrate Jota's winner.

Defeat was Leicester's third in a row in all competitions and Puel criticised his players' game management.

"We were naive, a lot," he said.

"I hope we can learn, it was important to run the clock down. Now it's difficult, we have a different feeling, negative.

"It's a big shame, with the quality we can show, to lose all these points.

"It was a crazy game. It was a poor start but it was a fantastic feeling to come back.

"We conceded a third which we can prevent and had the pleasure to come back another time.

"It was a fantastic feeling but we didn't manage the end of the game with the right attitude."
