Saturday's Premier League predictions including Newcastle United vs. Arsenal

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Newcastle United vs. Arsenal.

Fulham vs. Man Utd (Saturday, 12.30pm)

With their crisis worsening by the week, a morale-depleted Manchester United team seek to make amends for a disastrous few days when they meet Fulham at Craven Cottage in Saturday's early Premier League kickoff.

The Red Devils' meagre EFL Cup defence ended with a 3-0 home loss to Newcastle United on Wednesday, while their hosts booked their spot in the quarter-finals by downing Ipswich Town 3-1.

We say: Fulham 1-2 Manchester United

Breaching the Ipswich backline was not a problem for Fulham, but the Tractor Boys have struggled for defensive solidity all season long, while Man United managed to hold out when under the cosh against Burnley and Sheffield United away from home.

Whether Muniz can solve the hosts' attacking conundrum in the long-term remains to be seen, but with several well-rested Man United players desperate to prove a point at Craven Cottage, we have faith in Ten Hag's men to get back on track and condemn the Cottagers to a fourth defeat in a row in this fixture.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Brentford vs. West Ham (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Both revelling in remarkable London derby victories over the past week, Brentford and West Ham United gear up for another Premier League capital clash at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday.

The Bees made Stamford Bridge history by sinking Chelsea 2-0 last weekend, while the Irons made the EFL Cup quarter-finals courtesy of a 3-1 success over Arsenal in midweek.

We say: Brentford 2-1 West Ham United

Given Brentford's penchant for goals on home soil and the Hammers' defensive shortcomings on the road, the Bees' hot streak at the Gtech ought to continue against their fatigued opponents, who left it all out on the pitch on Wednesday evening and deservedly got their reward.

Even Alvarez and Paqueta's bans should not have too big a bearing on Saturday's result, although it does leave Moyes with fewer options for in-game change in the middle, and Brentford's extended recuperation period could also play its part in seeing West London defeat East London once again.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Burnley vs. Crystal Palace (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Fresh from their EFL Cup fourth-round exit in midweek, Burnley will endeavour to turn their fortunes around when they play host to Crystal Palace at Turf Moor in the Premier League on Saturday.

The two teams meet for the first time in the top flight since playing out a 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park in February last year.

We say: Burnley 1-2 Crystal Palace

Burnley can ill-afford to drop too many more points if they wish to climb out of the bottom three, and they will regard Saturday's fixture as a good opportunity to claim a positive result.

However, the same can be said for the Eagles, who we believe will bounce back from successive losses to claim maximum points against a defensively vulnerable Clarets side at Turf Moor.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Everton vs. Brighton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Aiming to extend their winning streak across all tournaments to three matches, an in-form Everton host Brighton & Hove Albion at Goodison Park in Saturday's Premier League fixture.

The Toffees put three unanswered goals past Burnley in midweek to progress to the EFL Cup quarter-finals, while Roberto De Zerbi's team failed to hang onto a slender lead in a 1-1 draw with Fulham last weekend.

We say: Everton 1-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

Away attackers enjoyed a field day when Everton and Brighton met one another on both occasions last term, but if recent displays are anything to go by, Dyche's tough Toffees will prove more than capable of stunting an injury-hit Seagulls attack.

Sixteen goals have flown into the back of the net in the last three meetings between these two clubs, but a more low-key affair can be expected on Saturday, where a well-rested Brighton could be restricted to just the one point against their in-form hosts.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Man City vs. Bournemouth (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Almost a week on from their dominant derby triumph, Manchester City welcome Bournemouth to the Etihad Stadium for a Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon.

While the Citizens are bidding to extend their winning run to four matches in all competitions, the Cherries are hoping to bounce back from their EFL Cup fourth-round exit to Liverpool in midweek.

We say: Manchester City 4-0 Bournemouth

It is difficult to back against a comfortable home victory for Man City this weekend considering their remarkable form at the Etihad and impressive winning record against Bournemouth.

The Cherries have kept just one clean sheet in their last 15 Premier League matches, and they will likely struggle to contain a prolific Citizens outfit who have scored eight goals in their last three games since the international break.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Sheff Utd vs. Wolves (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Still seeking to claim their first Premier League win of the season, basement club Sheffield United play host to a resurgent Wolverhampton Wanderers side at Bramall Lane on Saturday afternoon.

The South Yorkshire club are preparing to face their West Midlands counterparts for the first time since losing 3-0 away from home in the FA Cup fourth round in January last year.

We say: Sheffield United 1-2 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolves have conceded in each of their last eight games across all competitions, which bodes well for Sheffield United who have scored in three of their last four home league matches and are desperate to end their miserable winless run.

The absence of Neto will be felt by the visitors, but they should have enough quality within their squad to outscore the Blades and claim all three points in South Yorkshire.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Newcastle vs. Arsenal (Saturday, 5.30pm)

On the back of contrasting evenings in the EFL Cup, Newcastle United and Arsenal return to Premier League duty with a blockbuster battle at St James' Park on Saturday evening.

While the Magpies eased past holders Manchester United 3-0 on Wednesday evening, the Gunners' knockout run came to an end with a 3-1 fourth-round beating at the hands of West Ham United.

We say: Newcastle United 1-1 Arsenal

While Newcastle deserve immense credit for their Red Devils romping, most teams to have been pitted against a declining Man United this season have given Ten Hag's side a good run for their money, while Arsenal were left to rue two unfortunate goals at the London Stadium.

Both sides will be recalling integral performers to their starting XI, but with the Magpies flaunting a resolute defence at home and Arsenal boasting an unparalleled rearguard streak on the road, we can only envisage a low-scoring affair ending all square as the Gunners prolong their unbeaten top-flight record.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
