Liverpool are reportedly not in discussions with Porto over a January deal for Luis Diaz.
The 24-year-old has been in impressive form for his Portuguese club during the 2021-22 campaign, finding the back of the net on 14 occasions in 24 appearances, in addition to contributing five assists.
A recent report claimed that Liverpool were closing in on a £60m deal for the Colombia international, with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp said to have identified him as the ideal signing at Anfield.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, there are not currently any talks between the two clubs over a mid-season move for the South American.
Romano claims that Liverpool scouted Diaz last year but are currently focusing on agreeing a new contract with Mohamed Salah rather than signing a new attacker during the January transfer window.
Manchester United are also said to be admirers of the left-sided forward, who has struck 39 goals and registered 18 assists in 121 outings for Porto since making the move from Atletico Junior in 2019.
