Erling Braut Haaland's agent denies reports claiming that he and Alf-Inge Haaland are demanding £17m from any deal for the Borussia Dortmund striker.

Erling Braut Haaland's agent Mino Raiola has denied reports claiming that he demanded £17m from any deal for the Borussia Dortmund striker.

Raiola and Haaland's father Alf-Inge Haaland touched down in Spain last week for discussions with Barcelona and Real Madrid, both of whom are keen to strike a deal for the Dortmund forward this summer.

A recent report claimed that Haaland's two representatives were demanding a fee of £17m each if they successfully negotiate a move for the Norway international, but Raiola took to social media to deny the rumours.

The 53-year-old posted a simple message on Twitter which read "fake news travels quick and far" on Sunday night, as speculation over Haaland's future continues to intensify.

Haaland's entourage are understood to have planned talks with Premier League clubs ahead of the reopening of the transfer market, with Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea all linked with a move for the 20-year-old in recent weeks.

However, Haaland himself has supposedly demanded to play alongside compatriot Martin Odegaard, whose Real Madrid future is currently up in the air after an impressive loan spell at Arsenal.
