Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has hinted that he may ban Joey Barton from using Twitter after his latest rant regarding the racism row with John Terry.
The QPR captain took to the social network site to air his views on the pending trial of Chelsea defender Terry, who faces charges of allegedly racially abusing Barton's teammate Anton Ferdinand.
The office of the Attorney General stated that they will be looking into the 29-year-old's claims.
"I will wait to see if that is confirmed and if it is confirmed there is a different conversation that needs to be had," The Mirror quotes Hughes as saying. "We'll see."
The former Newcastle United midfielder could be called as a witness in the trial, which is due to commence on July 9.
