Sunday's La Liga predictions including Espanyol vs. Real Madrid

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's La Liga action, including Espanyol vs. Real Madrid.

Levante vs. Real Betis (Sunday, 1.00pm)

Real Betis will be looking to make it back-to-back victories in La Liga when they continue their 2019-20 season away to Levante on Sunday afternoon.

The Seville-based outfit will enter the match off the back of a 1-0 win over Espanyol, while Levante saw a four-game unbeaten run in the league ended by Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.

We say: Levante 1-1 Real Betis

Betis will have been boosted by their victory over Espanyol, and there is no question that the Green and Whites have a lot of talented players. They have only recorded one away league victory this season, though, while Levante have suffered just four defeats on their own patch; we fancy a low-scoring draw.

Villarreal vs. Valencia (Sunday, 4.00pm)

Villarreal will be looking to boost their hopes of sneaking into the top four in La Liga when they welcome Valencia to Estadio de la Ceramica on Sunday afternoon.

The Yellow Submarine are currently sixth in the table, five points behind fourth-placed Sevilla, while Valencia occupy eighth position, two points behind their opponents this weekend.

We say: Villarreal 2-1 Valencia

The fact that Villarreal have not played since Monday is a huge advantage for the home side, particularly considering that Valencia had a tough game away to Eibar on Thursday. Both teams will fancy their chances of picking up a positive result, but we are backing the Yellow Submarine to triumph.

Granada vs. Eibar (Sunday, 6.30pm)

Granada will be looking to get their top-six challenge back on track when they continue their 2019-20 La Liga season at home to Eibar on Sunday night.

The home side are without a victory in their last three in the league, but Eibar will enter this weekend's contest off the back of an impressive 1-0 win over Valencia on Thursday night.

We say: Granada 2-0 Eibar

Granada will have had longer to prepare for this match, with Eibar in action on Thursday night, which is a huge advantage. The hosts are in need of three points to boost their chances of claiming a Europa League spot, and we fancy them to be on the right end of a 2-0 scoreline.

Espanyol vs. Real Madrid (Sunday, 9.00pm)

Real Madrid will be looking to make it five La Liga victories in a row when they travel to the RCDE Stadium to face relegation-threatened Espanyol on Sunday night.

Los Blancos are currently top of the table, although Barcelona will have the chance to return to the summit when they face Celta Vigo on Saturday afternoon. Espanyol, meanwhile, are at the bottom of the division, eight points from safety with just seven games left.

We say: Espanyol 0-2 Real Madrid

Espanyol are in desperate need of a positive result, but Madrid are on a roll at the moment, and we are finding it very difficult to back against Zidane's side. In truth, we fancy a comfortable victory for the visitors, who might need a win to return to the summit depending on Barca's result against Celta.
