Norwich City centre-back Sabastien Bassong has vowed to show Norwich City fans "the real Sebastien Bassong" after his difficult time at Tottenham Hotspur.
Bassong, who impressed under current manager Chris Hughton when the pair were at Newcastle United, only made 33 league appearances in three seasons at White Hart Lane, but the Cameroonian is now targeting a return to form with his new club.
"The happiest time in my career was at Newcastle, when I was working with Chris," Bassong told the Daily Star.
"This is going to be a fresh start for me and hopefully now everyone will again see the real Sebastien Bassong.
"I had a lot of things to think about but in the end I decided that coming to Norwich was the best choice for me."
Bassong made nine appearances on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers last season.
