One week on from an unexpected and brutal Premier League title setback, a humbled Nottingham Forest endeavour to right their recent wrongs on Saturday, when Brighton & Hove Albion rock up to the City Ground.
Nuno Espirito Santo's men were slaughtered 5-0 by a brilliant Bournemouth side in gameweek 23, while their visitors also came out on the wrong end of a 1-0 scoreline at home to David Moyes's Everton.
We say: Nottingham Forest 2-1 Brighton & Hove Albion
Nottingham Forest's humiliating afternoon in Bournemouth has the feel of a one-off outlier rather than the start of a slippery slope for Santo's men, who have our backing to immediately recover from that freakish result.
Brighton never run into any problems putting the ball in the back of the net away from home, but their lack of cutting edge versus Everton was alarming, and a fired-up Forest side should take full advantage.

In what may be one of the trickiest tests of their Premier League title mettle yet, Liverpool make the long journey south to meet Bournemouth in Saturday afternoon's fascinating Premier League contest.
Arne Slot's men return to domestic duty on the back of a 3-2 Champions League loss to PSV Eindhoven, while their hosts were also involved in a five-goal thriller last time out, albeit one where they hit Nottingham Forest for five without reply.
We say: Bournemouth 1-2 Liverpool
While Liverpool's standout names are well-rested after being given the night off in midweek, Bournemouth will have also enjoyed six days of uninterrupted preparation for the weekend's blockbuster, where Iraola's men are to be taken extremely seriously.
However, the injury-hit hosts are still lacking quality options for change off the bench, while Slot's men have no problems in that regard, and substitutions could very well make the difference for the Reds again as they end Bournemouth's spectacular run.

Everton and Leicester City clash at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Saturday a week after both clubs earned hugely important wins away from home.
Before the sacking of Sean Dyche at the start of the month, this was being touted as a potential relegation six-pointer, but Everton have since moved clear of both the bottom three and Leicester, who start the weekend just a place below them.
We say: Everton 1-1 Leicester City
This will be a new test for Moyes, playing a team who they will have to break down, after facing three front-foot opponents so far, and this has been a challenge that this Everton side has failed to achieve time and time again this season.
Leicester have been given a lift from last week's win, and will feel more confident in taking something in a fixture that has produced the highest percentage of draws than any other in Premier League history that has been played at least 30 times (17 draws in 35).

Ipswich vs. Southampton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Second last meets dead last in Saturday's bottom-of-the-table Premier League clash, where Ipswich Town welcome Southampton to Portman Road in a 2023-24 Championship rematch.
While only one place separates the two newly-promoted clubs in the relegation zone, the hosts are in with a fighting chance of survival, while Ivan Juric's team need a miracle to preserve their top-flight status.
We say: Ipswich Town 2-2 Southampton
The form book may make for grim reading for the visitors, but there have undoubtedly been positives for Juric and co to take from their last three displays, even if they all went unrewarded.
A priceless victory may still be beyond the Saints, but they can capitalise on Ipswich's recent defensive vulnerabilities to take a point from what could be an engrossing affair.

Newcastle vs. Fulham (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Newcastle United will endeavour to boost their Champions League qualification hopes when they welcome Fulham to St James' Park for a Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon.
The Magpies will be seeking revenge against the Cottagers as they suffered a 3-1 away defeat in the reverse fixture in September last year.
We say: Newcastle United 2-1 Fulham
Fulham's recent away from and victory in the reverse fixture against Newcastle will provide them with confidence ahead of Saturday's trip to St James' Park, but the Magpies will still be regarded as favourites to come out on top.
Howe's side will be keen to deliver a much-improved home performance after being outplayed by Bournemouth a fortnight ago, and we believe that the hosts, spearheaded by in-form striker Isak, will find a way to pick up maximum points against the Cottagers.

Wolves vs. Aston Villa (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Top-four hopefuls Aston Villa make the short journey to Molineux to lock horns with relegation-threatened Wolverhampton Wanderers in Saturday's Premier League West Midlands derby.
The two teams meet for the first time since the end of September last year when Unai Emery's men claimed a 3-1 victory at Villa Park.
We say: Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-2 Aston Villa
In desperate need of a morale-boosting win to strengthen their survival hopes, Wolves will hope to take advantage of an Aston Villa side potentially lacking energy after their midweek heroics in Europe.
Emery's weakened backline could be exploited by Wolves, but the hosts have their own issues in defence and we expect the top-four chasing visitors to outscore their opponents en route to claiming all three points.
