Saturday's La Liga predictions including Real Madrid vs. Celta Vigo

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's La Liga fixtures, including Real Madrid vs. Celta Vigo.

Osasuna vs. Betis (Saturday, 1.00pm)

Real Betis will continue their quest for Champions League qualification when they travel to El Sadar to face Osasuna on Saturday.

The hosts, meanwhile, are trying to remain focused on league matters as the countdown continues to their Copa del Rey final meeting with Real Madrid on May 6.

We say: Osasuna 1-2 Real Betis

Although Osasuna will be determined to remain focused on their La Liga campaign, it is difficult for their players not to become distracted by the final that is waiting in the distance.

In contrast, Betis are highly motivated for Saturday's game as they look to maintain their top-four bid and after winning their last six league games against Osasuna, we think they will continue their impressive head-to-head record by claiming a narrow victory.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Almeria vs. Athletic Bilbao (Saturday, 3.15pm)

Athletic Bilbao will be bidding to make it three straight La Liga victories when they travel to Power Horse Stadium on Saturday afternoon to take on relegation-threatened Almeria.

The visitors are currently seventh in the table, four points behind sixth-placed Villarreal, while Almeria sit 17th, three points clear of the relegation zone in Spain's top flight.

We say: Almeria 1-1 Athletic Bilbao

Almeria have picked up as many home points this season as Villarreal, with their hopes of staying in the league likely to depend on their form at home. Athletic are on a roll at the moment, winning three of their last four, but we have a feeling that the points will be shared during a tight contest.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Real Sociedad vs. Rayo Vallecano (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Real Sociedad will be bidding to return to winning ways in Spain's top flight when they welcome Rayo Vallecano to San Sebastian on Saturday evening.

The home side will enter the contest off the back of a 2-0 loss to Athletic Bilbao in the Basque derby, while Rayo recorded a 2-1 victory over Osasuna in their last La Liga match.

We say: Real Sociedad 2-1 Rayo Vallecano

Real Sociedad are in desperate need of the points in their battle to secure a top-four finish, and we are backing the Basque outfit to return to winning ways here. Rayo are more than capable of picking up a positive result on Saturday but might ultimately fall just short against Alguacil's side.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Valladolid vs. Girona (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Girona will be aiming to continue their strong run of form in Spain's top flight when they travel to Estadio Municipal Jose Zorrilla on Saturday to take on Real Valladolid.

The visitors are currently ninth in the table, just two points behind eighth-placed Rayo Vallecano, while Valladolid sit 14th, five points clear of the relegation zone.

We say: Real Valladolid 1-1 Girona

Girona will be missing a number of important players for this match, but we are finding it hard to back them to lose due to their recent form. Real Valladolid are also impressing under their new manager, so we have ultimately settled on a draw in this weekend's contest.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Real Madrid vs. Celta Vigo (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Fresh from booking their spot in the semi-finals of the Champions League, Real Madrid will resume their La Liga campaign at home to Celta Vigo on Saturday night.

Los Blancos are chasing success in the European Cup and Copa del Rey this term, but they are currently second in the La Liga table, 11 points behind leaders Barcelona, while Celta occupy 12th position, collecting 36 points from their 29 matches during a solid campaign to date.

We say: Real Madrid 1-0 Celta Vigo

Celta will certainly be the fresher of the two teams entering this match, and it could be a close affair at Bernabeu, with Ancelotti likely to make a number of changes to his side. However, Real Madrid should still be able to navigate their way to their 20th league victory of the campaign.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.
