Celta Vigo vs. Almeria (Sunday, 1.00pm)

Celta Vigo will be bidding to make it three La Liga victories in a row when they continue their domestic campaign at home to lowly Almeria on Sunday afternoon.

The Sky Blues are currently 10th in the table, now eight points clear of the relegation zone, while Almeria sit 19th, one point behind 17th-placed Espanyol heading into the next set of fixtures.

We say: Celta Vigo 1-0 Almeria

Almeria's away record this season is extremely poor, so it is difficult to back them on their travels. Celta's recent form has been excellent, meanwhile, and we are expecting the Sky Blues to pick up another three points, but it might be tight in terms of the scoreline.

Real Madrid vs. Valladolid (Sunday, 3.15pm)

Real Madrid will be bidding to return to winning ways in La Liga when they resume their campaign at home to Real Valladolid on Sunday afternoon.

Carlo Ancelotti's side fell 12 points behind division leaders Barcelona when they suffered a 2-1 loss in El Clasico before the international break, while Real Valladolid were beaten 3-1 by Athletic Bilbao last time out.

We say: Real Madrid 2-0 Real Valladolid

This might not be a straightforward match for Real Madrid, as Real Valladolid are battling for their lives towards the bottom of the division. Los Blancos will be determined to return to winning ways following El Clasico, though, and we are expecting the champions to navigate their way to all three points.

Villarreal vs. Real Sociedad (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Sixth will welcome fourth in Spain's top flight on Sunday evening, with Villarreal playing host to Real Sociedad.

Villarreal sit five points clear of seventh-placed Athletic Bilbao in the La Liga table, while Real Sociedad are three points ahead of fifth-placed Real Betis in the battle to secure a Champions League finish.

We say: Villarreal 1-1 Real Sociedad

There is no downplaying the importance of this match to both teams, and it should be an entertaining match on Sunday evening. Villarreal are the form team entering this game, but Real Sociedad have enough quality to secure a share of the spoils this weekend.

Atletico vs. Betis (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Atletico Madrid will be bidding to make it four La Liga victories in a row when they welcome fellow top-four hopefuls Real Betis to Wanda Metropolitano on Sunday night.

Diego Simeone's side are currently third in the table, six points ahead of fifth-placed Real Betis, with both teams battling to secure Champions League football for the 2023-24 campaign.

We say: Atletico Madrid 2-1 Real Betis

This has all of the makings of a very entertaining contest, and we are expecting a close match on Sunday. Atletico's recent form has been excellent, though, and Real Betis are missing some important players, so we are backing Simeone's side to put another three points on the board.
