Rotherham United defender Richard Wood has joined Chesterfield on a three-month loan deal.
The 30-year-old centre-back has yet to make an appearance for the Millers this term, having spent time at Fleetwood Town.
During his stint at Highbury, Wood featured seven times and helped keep three clean sheets in the process.
Chesterfield boss Dean Saunders, who managed the Sheffield Wednesday youth product during a similar spell at Crawley Town last season, has now brought him in on an emergency deal until the end of January.
Wood joined Rotherham from Charlton Athletic earlier this year.
