Saturday's Serie A predictions including Lazio vs. Napoli

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Lazio vs. Napoli.

Atalanta vs. Cagliari (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Beaten by a gut-punch goal in midweek, Atalanta BC will switch their attention back to Serie A on Saturday, when they welcome relegation-threatened Cagliari to Bergamo.

The Nerazzurri were on course for a Champions League draw with Club Brugge before conceding a controversial penalty; ahead of next week's return, they must try to strengthen their grip on a top-four place in Italy.

We say: Atalanta BC 3-1 Cagliari

Atalanta (15) and Cagliari (13) have gained the most points from losing positions in Serie A this season, so one goal will not settle this contest.

There have been no draws in any of the teams' last 19 league meetings, and that trend will continue with another Nerazzurri win.

Lazio vs. Napoli (Saturday, 5.00pm)

Playing first in this week's instalment of an absorbing Serie A title race, Napoli will visit Lazio at Stadio Olimpico on Saturday.

Before Scudetto rivals Inter Milan tackle Juventus in the Derby d'Italia, the league leaders head for Rome, having already lost twice to Lazio this season.

We say: Lazio 2-1 Napoli

Expect a late twist, as these teams have earned the most points from goals scored after the 75th minute so far this season.

As their visitors' new bogey team, Lazio might make it three from three, ending Napoli's nine-game unbeaten streak and denting Antonio Conte's title dreams.

AC Milan vs. Hellas Verona (Saturday, 7.45pm)

In danger of exiting Europe after a midweek defeat, AC Milan must attempt to get their domestic top-four challenge back on track when they host Hellas Verona on Saturday.

Still seeking their first-ever Serie A win at San Siro, the visitors were heavily beaten last week and sit just outside the drop zone.

We say: AC Milan 2-0 Hellas Verona

Although Verona have actually accrued more points on the road than at home, their San Siro curse is set to continue.

Despite a change of management, Milan are still hit-and-miss - but they are rarely beaten on home turf by Serie A strugglers.
