Miroslav Stevanovic returns to Sevilla

Sevilla forward Miroslav Stevanovic has his loan spell with Elche terminated.

Miroslav Stevanovic has had his loan spell with Elche terminated and returned to parent side Sevilla.

The Bosnian forward moved to the newly-promoted outfit on loan from the Estadio Ramon in the summer along with Manu del Moral and Alberto Botia.

While the latter pair have featured heavily for Elche this season, Stevanovic has made just three league appearances under Fran Escriba.

It is understood that the forward is not part of Sevilla's plans, but is keen to secure regular football ahead of the 2014 World Cup and therefore will seek another short-term move this month.
