Third-placed Istanbul Basaksehir will be looking to cement their place in the top four when they play host to Antalyaspor in the Super Lig on Sunday.

The visitors, on the other hand, head into the contest in 13th position, but they do possess an eight-point cushion to the relegation zone.

Istanbul Basaksehir may have collected just a point from their last two games, but they have lost just once in their last six matches.

In fact, only league leaders Trabzonspor (16) have collected more points in the previous six games than Istanbul Basaksehir (13), who are determined to finish inside the Super Lig top four.

Although, Emre Belozoglu will be disappointed that his side could not take three points from their away encounter with fellow Istanbul side Besiktas last weekend.

Trezeguet opened the scoring for Istanbul Basaksehir before Guven Yalcin levelled the contest, but the visitors managed to restore their lead in first-half stoppage time thanks to a Stefano Okaka strike.

Despite leading twice, Belozoglu's side were unable to hold on, with Kenan Karaman equalising to ensure the spoils were shared, leaving Sunday's hosts with just a one-point cushion over fifth place.

Meanwhile, Antalyaspor enter Sunday's contest in impressive form as they look to extend their current unbeaten run to seven matches.

Twelve points from their last six league matches has resulted in Antalyaspor climbing not just out of the relegation zone, but away from danger where they now sit eight points clear of the bottom four.

Last weekend, Nuri Sahin's side claimed a narrow home victory over Sivasspor, with Fernando striking in first-half stoppage time, and they will now have the chance to claim back-to-back wins on Sunday.

Although hopes of another victory at the weekend may be dampened by the fact that Antalyaspor have won just two of their 14 away league matches this season.

Goals have been particularly hard to come by on the road, with Sunday's visitors one of four Super Lig sides that are still yet to hit double figures for away goals this season.

Team News

Youssouf Ndayishimiye and Mahmut Tekdemir are both ruled out for the hosts due to injury issues.

Although they were unable to beat Besiktas last weekend, Belozoglu is expected to name an unchanged lineup for Sunday's contest.

Trezeguet has continued to impress since joining in January, and he will be looking to add to his four-goal tally against Antalyaspor.

As for the visitors, they are likely to be without Admir Mehmedi and Harun Alpsoy, who are set to miss out through injury.

Veysel Sari came into the starting lineup last weekend to partner Naldo in the centre of defence, and Sahin is expected to stick with the pairing at the weekend.

Meanwhile, January signing Luiz Adriano is set to lead the line for the visitors.
