Liverpool's Adam Lallana: 'We must not get carried away after beating Chelsea'

Adam Lallana says that he and his Liverpool teammates must not get "carried away" following their 3-1 win over Chelsea.

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has urged the team not to get "carried away" after beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend.

Jurgen Klopp's men added more misery to the Blues' season by sealing a 3-1 triumph, but they now switch attention to the Europa League.

The Reds will travel 2,500 miles to the Republic of Tatarstan to take on Rubin Kazan, who managed to claim a point at Anfield last month.

"[Beating Chelsea is] a step in the right direction but it's important we don't get carried away," Lallana told the Liverpool Echo. "It's just one win, we're by no means there yet.

"Now we need to think about Kazan and trying to improve our situation in the Europa League. They proved at Anfield what a good side they are. We need to rise to the challenge over there to keep this unbeaten run going."

Liverpool have not been beaten in their last nine games in all competitions.
