Juventus to hijack Real Madrid's Eduardo Camavinga move?

Juventus prepare to battle Real Madrid for Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, according to a report.

Juventus are reportedly preparing to battle Real Madrid for the signature of Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

The 17-year-old enjoyed an excellent 2019-20 season for his French club, scoring once and providing two assists in 36 appearances in all competitions, and he was widely expected to join Madrid over the summer.

The financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak meant that Los Blancos could not afford to sign the France international, but a recent report claimed that Zinedine Zidane's side were confident of completing a deal for the teenager during next summer's transfer window.

Camavinga, who scored his first goal for France against Ukraine on October 7, is also still said to be determined to move to the Bernabeu.

However, according to Tuttosport, Juve are preparing to make a 'serious play' for the youngster, with Old Lady boss Andrea Pirlo determined to bring him to Turin next year.

Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are also said to be keeping a close eye on the developments surrounding the midfielder.
