Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Saturday's La Liga clash with Real Betis.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti could recall Dani Carvajal and Ferland Mendy to his starting side for Saturday afternoon's La Liga contest with Real Betis.

Los Blancos continued their 100% start to the new La Liga campaign with a 3-1 victory at Espanyol last time out.

Nacho, Jesus Vallejo and Alvaro Odriozola were all absent from the match due to fitness issues, but the former is back in the squad for this match.

Ancelotti does not have any other fresh fitness issues, with the likes of Rodrygo and Eduardo Camavinga pushing for returns to the starting side.

Federico Valverde is likely to keep his spot on the right, though, due to Real Betis' attacking qualities, while Aurelien Tchouameni is again expected to play alongside Luka Modric and Toni Kroos in midfield.

Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema are also certain starters, with the pair scoring the goals against Espanyol, which made it nine points from an available nine for the reigning champions this season.

Ancelotti is expected to make changes at the back, though, with Carvajal and Mendy both set to return in the full-back positions.

Lucas Vazquez and Antonio Rudiger are likely to be the two players to drop down to the bench, with David Alaba moving from left-back to centre-back to allow Mendy to return to his usual position.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Mendy; Kroos, Tchouameni, Modric; Valverde, Benzema, Vinicius
