Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish blamed his side's lack of ruthlessness in front of goal for their 1-1 draw at struggling Blackburn Rovers.
Charles N'Zogbia had given Villa the lead at Ewood Park, but David Dunn's late header salvaged a much-needed point for the hosts.
"We lacked the ruthlessness that has maybe blighted us a bit this season," said McLeish. "You could certainly talk about the amount of chances we've passed up in games.
"We've got to move on and try to build on our performance in the first half. Paul Robinson made some fantastic saves, but in the second half Blackburn bullied us a bit."
The draw has left McLeish's team in the precarious position of 15th in the Premier League table.
