Ole Gunnar Solskjaer commits his future to Molde following talks with Aston Villa over their managerial vacancy.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has turned down the opportunity to manage Aston Villa.

The former Manchester United striker held talks with the Birmingham-based club yesterday afternoon regarding their current managerial vacancy.

However, following those discussions the 39-year-old has decided to continue in his role with Molde, whom he coached to their first league title in over 100 years last season.

He has two years remaining on his contact with Molde and has revealed that he intends to see them out.

"I have not had any offers," Solskjaer told a press conference. "I'm not looking for another job.

"In football, and in life in general, things turn up that you have to make decisions about. I have a contract for two more years and I'll stand by that."

Solskjaer took charge of Molde in November 2010.
