The Football Association have announced that Everton and West Ham United have each been fined £20,000 for 'failing to control their players' at Goodison Park last weekend.
Both sets of players clashed on the pitch following James McCarthy's tackle on Morgan Amalfitano during the Toffees' 2-1 victory over the Hammers on Merseyside.
The Premier League clubs were charged following the melee and both have admitted breaching FA rules.
The English governing body said in a statement: "The clubs accepted the standard penalty for this offence."
McCarthy received a yellow card for his tackle, while Winston Reid also went into the book for his reaction to the tackle.
