Liverpool are planning a swoop for Schalke 04's Lewis Holtby in January, according to reports.
Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is looking to add some creativity to his side and sees German Holtby as ideal to his plans, according to The Telegraph.
The 22-year-old is in the final year of his contract at the Veltins Arena and could be available at a knockdown price.
Holtby's father is English, but the former Mainz man became a German international when Joachim Low handed him a debut against Azerbaijan in 2011.
