Montpellier HSC have joined Liverpool, Everton and West Ham United in the race to sign Inter Milan striker Luc Castaignos.

Montpellier HSC have identified Inter Milan striker Luc Castaignos as the man to replace Arsenal-bound Olivier Giroud, according to reports in Italy.

Liverpool, Everton and West Ham United have all registered their interest in the 19-year-old, who has only scored once since moving to the San Siro from Feyenoord last year.

However, the newly crowned French champions are now hoping to steal a march on the competition.

According to La Gazetta dello Sport, La Pallaide want to find a quick replacement for Giroud, who looks set to join Arsenal after banging 24 goals in all competitions last season.

Castaignos has already confirmed that he will leave the Nerazzurri this summer.
