President Jean-Michel Aulas has said that rumours of unrest in the Lyon dressing room are untrue.
Aulas has blamed the rumours on the French media and said they are being used as a vehicle to sell more newspapers.
"All this makes me sick. When I read today's newspapers the headlines were in torment, disastrous results, tension in the locker room. Crisis brewing in Lyon," Aulas told reporters.
"Of course it isn't true. It's unbelievable. Do you think I'd waste my time coming here and telling you this. It's ridiculous. Nothing has happened
"You take a topic and then you write a skewed story on it to sell your newspapers. You must take some responsibility because you can bring problems among the players. The same things happen in every team but because it's Lyon you'll sell more papers. In the end it's you who look like clowns."
Lyon are currently fourth in the Ligue 1 table after their 3-0 win over Toulouse on Friday.
