Anthony Martial 'feeling much better' after head injury

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial reveals that he is 'feeling much better' after suffering a head injury against Watford at the weekend.

Anthony Martial has revealed that he is 'feeling much better' after suffering a blow to his head in Manchester United's 3-1 defeat to Watford in the Premier League at the weekend.

The Frenchman was dazed after clashing heads with Hornets defender Daryl Janmaat at Vicarage Road, but stayed on the field until Watford made the breakthrough, which led to Jose Mourinho replacing the forward.

It had been feared that Martial could face a period on the sidelines with concussion, but the 20-year-old has taken to social media to provide a positive update on his recovery.

Martial stayed on the field for nearly 10 minutes at the weekend despite needing medical treatment for the initial clash of heads, which left both players on the ground.
