West Bromwich Albion have reportedly been granted an extension by the Premier League to complete the signing of Darren Fletcher.
The Manchester United midfielder has been at West Brom's training ground for the last couple of hours, thrashing out a move to The Hawthorns.
No official confirmation was made before the 11pm deadline on Monday evening, but according to various reports, the deal is still very much on, with the Baggies submitting the paperwork in time to gain an extension.
Fletcher, who was also linked with a move to West Ham United, will leave Manchester United after 20 years at the club. It is thought that the deal will be announced before 2am.
