Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp reportedly blames Emmanuel Adebayor for the club's run of poor form.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp will reportedly axe on-loan striker Emmanuel Adebayor after the pair clashed over the club's run of poor form.

Redknapp had previously suggested that he wanted to secure the Manchester City striker on a permanent basis, but the pair are understood to have exchanged views amid the Togo international's inconsistent form, according to The Mirror.

Adebayor missed Saturday's 1-0 loss to Queens Park Rangers with a hamstring injury, and could reportedly miss the remainder of the season.

Spurs are currently fifth in the Premier League table.
