Tom Heaton frustrated by Arsenal defeat

Burnley keeper Tom Heaton reveals that he and his teammates were disappointed to take nothing from their Premier League clash against Arsenal in their 3-0 defeat.

Burnley keeper Tom Heaton has admitted that he and his teammates are frustrated as they extended their winless run in the Premier League this season to 10 games with a defeat to Arsenal.

The Clarets held their own against the Gunners for the majority of the match, but Alexis Sanchez found the breakthrough for Arsene Wenger's side in the 69th minute.

Calum Chambers quickly added a second, while Sanchez sealed his side's victory in stoppage time to add to Sean Dyche's team's woes in the campaign.

Heaton told BBC Sport: "It is frustrating. We are desperate for a win but I think we went about the game well. We restricted them to few chances for up to 70 minutes.

"There are things we can learn from today and hopefully that puts us in a good shape going forward.

"Everyone is giving everything they have to get a result. If we keep doing what we have been doing we are confident, but it is about not letting the gap get too big."

Burnley are bottom of the Premier League with four points from their 10 matches this season.
