West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has revealed that the club are "working very hard" to sign Carl Jenkinson this summer.
The Arsenal full-back impressed on loan at Upton Park last season, making 36 appearances in all competitions for the Hammers.
Jenkinson is said to be keen on making a permanent switch to the East London outfit ahead of the new campaign, and Gold admits that the interest is mutual at this moment in time.
"We are working very hard to try and get Carl back here," he told talkSPORT.
It has been suggested elsewhere that Arsenal could offer the England Under-21s international a new contract in the coming weeks.
