Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller has agreed on a contract extension that will see him stay at the German club until the end of the 2015-16 season.
The 32-year-old, who has been at the Bundesliga outfit since 2002, is delighted to commit his long-term future to Jurgen Klopp's side.
"BVB have been enjoying a unique development and growth in recent years and I want to be part of this project in the future, too," Bundesliga.com quotes him as saying.
Dortmund's sporting director Michael Zorc added: "Roman is an extraordinary goalkeeper who consistently performs top-notch and has played an essential part in both the 2011 and 2012 Bundesliga championship as well as this season's progression to the UEFA Champions League final."
Weidenfeller has appeared in 282 Bundesliga matches for Dortmund in his career.
