Bolton boss Owen Coyle has said that Chelsea's swoop for defender Gary Cahill is far from complete.
Chelsea have agreed a £7m fee for the England rookie, but they have yet to agree personal terms for the player.
"The fee is agreed with Chelsea only. But you always have enquiries even though they are not anywhere near the level we have got to with Chelsea," Coyle revealed.
"Gary's motivation has never been finance. He aspires to play at the highest level."
Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has said that Cahill and the club are "miles apart" on negotiations over personal terms.
