Manchester City's Micah Richards has become the latest centre-back to be linked with a summer move to Liverpool.
The Reds are in the market for a replacement for Jamie Carragher, who is retiring at the end of the season.
Swansea City's Ashley Williams is believed to be on Brendan Rodgers's shortlist, as are Ajax's Toby Alderweireld and Feyenoord's Stefan de Vrij.
According to The Mirror, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Juventus are also reported to be monitoring Richards, who could cost around £15m.
The 24-year-old, who was nominated as a candidate for City's player of the year last season, has suffered from injury this term and made just four appearances.
