Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers confirms that Raheem Sterling and Suso will not be leaving the club on loan this season.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Raheem Sterling and Suso will not be leaving the club on loan.

The pair have been linked with temporary departures from Anfield following a lack of first-team action in recent weeks.

"It's very simple, neither of them are available for loan," Rodgers told reporters.

"I'm not sure where the stories have come from, to be honest. They're both young players that have played a lot this year - they have been very much a part of our group."

The Reds travel to Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday.
